The PL35-8521 trailer is a solid and safe vehicle offering a number of convenient features. Both its frame and drawbar are made of a durable hollow section and the structure is additionally reinforced underneath with transverse supports. This contributes to the platform's stability when carrying loads of varying tonnage.

Vehicles are driven onto the platform using long, 2.5-metre-long aluminium overruns. As standard, the overruns are placed underneath the platform during travel.

The two-car trailer is equipped with extendable overrun supports. These have a double function - they support the platform and ensure it is evenly levelled. This means that when loading or unloading the trailer, the stable uprights protect against possible tipping, which is essential for the safety and protection of the trailer and the transported vehicles. The two-car trailer is coated with a layer of passivated zinc to protect it from corrosion. This process involves coating the metal with a thin layer of zinc, which makes the trailer more resistant to external factors such as moisture and road salt. For trailers that are frequently operated in a variety of weather conditions, galvanising is a key element, ensuring long life and reliability for many years.

As standard, the PL35-8521 trailer has an overrun brake to ensure control and safety during loading and unloading. For even greater safety, it also has a parking brake, which makes it easier to park and stabilise the two-car trailer. Thanks to the strong jack wheel, manoeuvring the trailer becomes easier and the built-in hand winch makes it easy to bring the load in and out.

Wheel-locking chocks ensure secure fixing during transport, and aluminium overrun traps, which slide under the platform, allow vehicles to be loaded and unloaded. Rear LED lights provide excellent illumination, both at night and during manoeuvres, and the overrun supports ensure stability and safety when bringing vehicles onto the trailer.

 

The PL35-8521 two-car tow truck also offers a number of additional equipment options .

Among them you will find, among others: anti-theft protection that protects the trailer against unauthorized access. Crossing ramps will allow you to connect a trailer with a car trailer, facilitating the passage of transported cars between two vehicles. There are also three different winch options available with different pull capacities. Additionally, to improve driving comfort and stability during transport, you can equip the trailer for two cars with shock absorbers with mounting.

Note: In some car models, the trailer LED lighting may not work properly. This situation occurs most often in new car models and is caused by the low power consumption of LED technology. In order for the lights to work properly in the trailer, the hook should be equipped with an additional module for LED lighting. Lorries does not supply this module on produced trailers.
