CONSTRUCTION AND DURABILITY

Trailer PCA27-3017 has been designed with durability and reliability in mind. Key features of this model include:

• Container construction: The container body of the trailer was made of modules consisting of 24 mm sandwich panels, which are a combination of XSP panels and glass fiber reinforced laminate covers. The body prepared in this way perfectly protects the load from weather conditions.
• Aluminum construction: Despite its lightweight design, the trailer is exceptionally durable and corrosion-resistant, making it ideal for both intensive use on long routes and occasional use. Additionally, almost all metal elements are made of aluminum and the frame and drawbar of the trailer have been designed using a specially selected profile.
• Capacity: The container trailer has a load capacity of almost 2 tons. This is half a ton more compared to its steel counterparts. The body allows for the transport of loads 3 m long, 185 cm high and 170 cm wide.
• LED lighting: It provides excellent visibility in all conditions, and its water resistance guarantees reliability in difficult weather conditions. The trailer has front and rear LED marker lights. The rear position lights have been installed in dedicated covers made of plastic.
• Anti-slip plywood 15 mm: It is a solid trailer floor, ensuring stability of transported loads and minimizing the risk of the load shifting during transport. The floor has 6 solid handles installed to secure the transported load.

SECURITY AND USER CONVENIENCE

Trailer PCA27-3017 is equipped with a number of safeguards that protect the transported loads:

• Protective seals: They provide full isolation of the load from moisture, dust and other external contaminants, which protects the transported goods even in extreme weather conditions.
• Double-sided rear doors: The container trailer is equipped with a double-sided opening door with an aluminum fairing above it, protecting it from rain. The doors are closed using two catches. The door locking mechanism is secured with a key-operated lock. Both door wings have a mechanism securing them against closing.
• Back step: There is a non-slip step at the bottom of the trailer. Small, but very durable and functional - ideal for loading the trailer with a forklift. The trailer step is also made of aluminum sheet with reinforcing embossments.

Note: In some car models, the trailer LED lighting may not work properly. This situation occurs most often in new car models and is caused by the low power consumption of LED technology. In order for the lights to work properly in the trailer, the hook should be equipped with an additional module for LED lighting. Lorries does not supply this module on produced trailers.
