A new solution - a trailer for transporting water scooters equipped with skid-rollers combines the features of two solutions - ease of launching and stability of cargo transport.

TRAILER FOR TRANSPORTING WITH SKID-ROLLERS

The trailer, model PP75-4816 PR, for transporting jet-skis quipped with skid-rollers, can be confidently used by private persons as well as companies dealing with professional transport of jet-skis - e.g. for sports competitions. It has a GVM of 750 kg. It can be loaded with a jet-ski or a small boat weighing up to 587 kg, up to 3738 mm long and 1574 mm wide.

The water scooter is placed on a special structure of steel skids in which polyurethane wheels with a diameter of 200 mm are mounted. They are characterized by high strength, low weight and high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The diameter of the wheels and their number provide a large contact area with the water scooter. It translates into stability during transport and protection against deformation of the hull. Their advantage is also that they do not leave any traces on the surface of the water scooter.

Thanks to the adjustable skid-rollers, we can adapt the trailer to a water scooter of any width. A rubber buffer has been used in the front beam of the trailer, the task of which is to protect the incoming scooter from hitting the frame. To increase the comfort of use at the wheel arches, we have added side steps that facilitate access to the load and the operation of the scooter.

SOLID CONSTRUCTION

The loaded water vehicle is secured and placed on a solid and strong welded construction made from steel profiles. The front beam of the trailer frame has been tilted by 45 degrees and equipped with a rubber buffer, which reduces the risk of bruising the hull when the scooter flows over the trailer.

The trailer is protected against corrosion with a hot-dip galvanized layer. Optionally, it can be painted white, black or any other color from the RAL palette.

As standard, the trailer has been, i.a., equipped with tilting LED lamps. Thanks to this solution, there is no possibility of damaging the water scooter while arriving. LED technology extends the life of the lighting, and the Bayonet connectors used in them allow for easy removal of lamps, if necessary, and guarantee the waterproofing of the entire system. Lighting is an integral part of the vehicle and is intuitive to use. They can be easily unlocked and set in the appropriate arrangement enabling the introduction or bringing of a water scooter.

PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS

The trailer axle is equipped with the WPS (Waterproof system) — additional hub sealing, which protects the bearings against the water. This allows to significantly extend the life of the bearings, hubs and the axle itself.

The model is equipped as standard with 4 handles that allow to securely and confidently fasten the load with straps. The trailer can be equipped with additional 4 holders, which will allow even better and more effective hooking of the jet-ski from each side.

Depending on the center of gravity in the trailer, we can adjust the alignment of the axles in relation to the frame.

STANDARD AND ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT

The trailer for transporting water scooters with skid-rollers is equipped with a manual belt winch with an adjustable post. In addition, as standard, it has, among others LED lamps, support wheel, bow roller and R13 steel rims.

In addition to the usual amenities, it can also be retrofitted with a spare wheel with mounting, axle shock absorbers with mounting, additional belt mounting, front aluminum gangway, anti-theft protection or aluminum rims.
